Nelson T. Hensley

Nelson T. Hensley was born in Cuero, Texas. He graduated from University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in History. Nelson graduated from the University of Houston Law School with his Juris Doctorate and was licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas in May, 1978.

Nelson has extensive experience in many areas of law. Some of his focused areas of practice include commercial transactions and litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, family practice and bankruptcy litigation. He is admitted to practice in the United States District/Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, United States Court of Appeals (Firth Circuit), United States Tax Court, and United States Supreme Court. Nelson was also on the United States Bankruptcy Court Standing Trustee Panel from 1977 to 1993, Southern District of Texas.

Growing up in a small south Texas town taught Nelson a very valuable lesson: treat other people’s business like it is your own and success will be achieved. Nelson continues the philosophy in his law practice—treating his clients’ business as he would his own business. Nelson maintains relationships with many clients who have been his clients for more than 30 years.

Cory M. Krueger

Cory M. Krueger was born in Victoria, Texas in 1980. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, and he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in 2006.

Cory clerked for the Honorable Judge Patricia Hancock of the 113th Civil District Court. His practice focuses on intricate legal matters including real estate, probate, family law, business and corporate law, criminal defense, personal injury, wills/trusts, formation of legal entities, commercial litigation, tax disputes, and asset protection.

Cory is a trial lawyer but also practices transactional law in connection with drafting contracts, real estate documents, and wills/trusts.

Cory is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Real Estate Section, and the Houston Litigation Section. Cory is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, the United States Tax Court, The United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Hensley & Krueger, L.L.P. was officially formed in 2008 and Cory has been managing the day to day business of the firm since its inception.

In his spare time, Cory and enjoys hunting, golfing, football, and all sporting events.
